Who We Are
European Business Association was born out of a simple idea: European students at Indiana University deserve a community that helps them navigate the American university and recruiting environment, from understanding how U.S. interviews differ to building the connections that matter. But we also believe the exchange goes both ways. By bringing our unique European perspectives on work, culture, and ambition to our American peers, we aim to enrich the business community here at IU. Whether you're looking to break into American finance, find your footing on campus, or simply connect with students who share your background. You're in the right place.
What We Do
Everything we do is designed around one goal: giving European students the tools, network, and confidence to thrive in the American business world, while sharing what makes European culture and work ethic worth knowing.
We host regular events that bring together European students, American peers, and professionals who've navigated both worlds. From casual mixers to structured networking nights, we create the moments where relationships, and opportunities, are built.
American recruiting is a different game, with different timelines, different interview styles, and different expectations. We run workshops on U.S. recruiting cycles, resume and cover letter formatting, behavioral interviews, and how to leverage IU's Kelley network to land the roles you're aiming for.
We don't just help Europeans adapt; we help Americans understand what they're missing. Through cultural exchanges, discussions, and shared experiences, we bring European perspectives on ambition, work-life balance, and global business into the IU conversation.
